JVS Corporate Training provides on-site, customized training services at company facilities throughout the State of New Jersey and beyond. As a statewide leader in workplace training, JVS provides businesses with the expertise needed to improve their employees’ productivity and upgrade the skills of their workforce – anytime, anywhere.
JVS subject matter experts work with tens of thousands of employees at hundreds of companies annually. Courses range from basic skills classes, managerial workshops, and technical training to specific production needs, health and safety training and on-site computer instruction using our mobile computer labs. All courses are customized to meet company needs and to create a more efficient, productive, skilled workforce. With better trained employees, companies become more competitive and are able to work more efficiently and improve their bottom line. Many JVS programs are conducted in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, which offers grants that can underwrite the cost of training. In most cases, there is no out-of-pocket cost to the company.
JVS Corporate Training is a division of JVS, a nonprofit, community-based organization that has offered education, training and career programs to New Jersey residents and businesses since 1939. JVS provides business-to-business and recruitment services for employers, skills training for company employees and free job placement assistance for a diverse group of individuals, including dislocated workers, disabled individuals, émigrés and older adults.
